The experience
Depart from Como towards Cernobbio, stopping to appreciate its waterfront and views of Villa d’Este and Villa Erba. Continue along the western shore, past villages, gardens and elegant residences.
At Villa del Balbianello, discover a setting worthy of the cinema. Perched on a wooded promontory, its terraces and gardens became the backdrop for Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones and Casino Royale. Explore this celebrated residence with your guide, taking in its history and views across the lake.
After free time for lunch, continue to Bellagio. Stroll through the English-style gardens of Villa Melzi d’Eril and explore the village’s picturesque lanes. The boat journey back to Como offers a final chance to savour the scenery after a day of grand villas, garden walks and cinematic charm.
